Yogamaze Style—Developed and guided by Noah Mazé in a lifetime of practice and study, Yogamazé style classes range from vinyasa-based FLOW classes that will challenge your strength, flexibility and stamina, to alignment-based FORM classes that will educate you about your body even as they deconstruct poses in precise anatomical detail.  

In every case, expect clear verbal instructions, precise postural demonstrations, skillful physical adjustments, progressive sequencing and a passionate call to practice the teachings of yoga and embody your best self now.  If you want to learn poses, learn your body, cultivate precision and go further than perhaps you thought you could, take a FORM class. If you want to breathe, move and sweat in an action packed practice, take a FLOW class. 


Class Types


Yogamazé Flow (Level 2)
These heated vinyasa flow classes will ease you in, heat you up, liquify you, and leave you in an peaceful puddle on your mat wanting more. The rhythm is your breath, the playlist is ujayii, prana is your nourishment, bandhas are your stability and drishti is your equanimity.  To begin, you will ease in to your practice with some soothing forward bends and pranayama. Improve your surya Namaskara A & B skills while building heat and power. The pace slows for you to stay focused and balanced, as the waves get bigger. Surya Namaskara C invites creativity as we continue to build strength and opening in the direction of the day’s peak pose climaxes; expect standing poses linked with hip openers and core strengthening. After the peak pose climax, the storm passes, and the closing poses cool you down and leave you basking in the sunlight one again in savasana. Bring hydration, a towel (or mysore rug) for your mat, another for you, a change of clothes for after, and an adventurous spirit.
Not for beginners. 

Yogamazé Flow  (Level 2/3)
These heated vinyasa flow classes will ease you in, heat you up, liquify you, and leave you in an ecstatic puddle on your mat wanting more. The rhythm is your breath, the playlist is ujayii, prana is your nourishment, bandhas are your stability and drishti is your equanimity.  To begin, you will ease in to your practice with some soothing forward bends and expand your breath and establish rhythm with Ujayii Pranayama practice. Surya Namaskara A will get your engine going, and Surya Namaskara B will get your liquids flowing. Just when you can’t keep up any longer, it slows down momentarily for you to re-focus and balance in the eye of the tornado. Then, the amplitude and frequency increase again, each pose builds on the previous as the sequence comes like waves crashing the shore as the momentum and direction pivots towards the days’ peak pose(s) climaxes. Finally the storm passes, and the closing poses cool you down and leave you basking in the sunlight one again in savasana. Bring hydration, a towel (or mysore rug) for your mat, another for you, a change of clothes for after, and an adventurous spirit. Not for beginners. 

Yogamazé Practice (Level 3)
This two hour level 3 practice-style class is as rigorous and fierce, as it is playful and fun.  We practice together, with mats facing the center aisle, “Mysore style,” and the teacher sweats it out on the mat with you as they instruct the poses. On one day, the pendulum may swing far in the direction of strong vinyasa flow, or it may swing in the direction of alignment-based work to specific peak poses, or be a mix of both. In every case, expect to be both challenged and supported as we progress into intermediate and advanced poses and transitions, and alternate between backbending poses on one day, to deep hip openers + arm balancing poses the next. If you have a consistent practice for at least two years, have the fundamentals solidly in place, practice inversions, desire to advance your practice and are resilient in the face of challenge, this class is for you. Come ready for an old-school pose throw down. Bring your A game, a towel, and a change of clothes. 

Yogamaze Warm Flow
This heated room flow starts slowly to ease you into your body and breath and create the shift into yogic consciousness. After some nourishing pranayama, the amplitude and frequency increases as each pose builds upon the previous into increasingly dynamic and vigorous peak sequences. The rhythm is your breath. Ujayii breathing, strong bandhas and steady drishti is emphasized throughout. This class will heat you up, liquify you, exercise every part of your being and leave you wanting more. Bring a towel for your mat and another for you and come hydrated.
