About Wanderlust Meditation
Come as you are. Whether you are a committed meditator with a solid daily practice or you’re dipping your toe into stillness for the first time, you will feel supported in all of our meditation offerings. Wanderlust’s meditation program is modern, upbeat, and relevant while also remaining deeply rooted in an experiential meditation tradition. Our knowledgable teachers will guide you through deep experiences based on ancient Vedic teachings, personal philosophies, and scientific research.
Our classes offer a consistent experience and are designed so that, regardless of your level, you will feel comfortable and guided. Full length classes begin with an Inspirational dharma talk exploring how ancient teachings show up in our daily lives and always include a 30 minute sit. Happy Ending is a 15-30 minute guided sit. Many of our classes are programmed to coordinate with Asana classes. At Wanderlust, we want to see more yogis meditating, more meditators on the yoga mat and more curiosity and flexibility in all people everywhere. Balance, balance, balance.

Open Sit // Mon-Fri 6:30-8:30am
Weekday mornings, we open up the lab for drop-in meditation. It can be difficult to sit at home - there are distractions everywhere! We are happy to provide a sanctuary so Wanderlusters can get their sit on - from 5 minute to an hour. Sit before or after AM asana class - or before avocado toast! Please be mindful about entering and exiting the space silently.
Free for members and unlimited card holders, $10 drop in for others.
Happy Ending Meditation (free)
Sweat first. Savasana next. And then get ready for something really good. 15 minutes of getting really intimate… with your SELF. Our guided Happy Ending meditation classes always follow asana classes so you can easily slip right into a deep short sit. Ultimately, the aim of asana is to open the body in preparation for meditation, and at Wanderlust we are excited to create a seamless and supportive environment for yogis to cultivate a regular sitting practice. Happy endings lay the groundwork for potent new beginnings.

Foundations of Meditation - a 4 Week intro to Meditation // Sundays 9:15-10:15am
Now is the time to start meditating. (Or to get inspired to revisit your neglected meditation cushion!) Over 4 weeks, we will explore the fundamentals of setting up a daily sitting practice, discuss the many benefits you will see unfold in your life (both physically and mentally), and unravel the ancient wisdom that accompanies this life changing practice. You will learn to meditate with ease and power and dive into the origins of mantra, gaining an understanding of how to maneuver your experiences during meditation.
This series is designed for new meditators as well as those that want to anchor back to the foundational elements of meditation to deepen their existing practice. Each class will include lecture, Q & A and sitting practice. We suggest that you begin the series the first Sunday of the month and come over four consecutive weeks, but you may start the series at any time. (And if you miss a week, you can make it up the following month.)
Week 1: What is Meditation? Why Meditate?
Week 2: Foundation and Mechanics of Mantra Meditation.
Week 3: Cultivating a Habit and Navigating Changeable Inner States.
Week 4: Touchstones to "Going Deeper" in Meditation: Physically, Mentally & Spiritually.
